Plant-Based Cooking – Summer Burger Fest Menus

Have a burger craving but want to eat healthier?  This is the veggie burger class for you. Forget those frozen store-bought versions. Cindy Newland, author, speaker, certified health coach and experienced plant-based cook, will show you how simple it is to take baby steps into the meatless world by sharing her tips for building the best plant-based, meat-free veggie burgers you’ve ever tasted. 

Cindy walks the walk when it comes to plant-based eating.  She struggled with a back injury that led her to make drastic changes and with those changes she lost 125 pounds and discovered a whole new way of eating and nourishing her body with plant-based foods.

Tonight, she’ll cover the nutritional bases; then she’ll show you how to create several kinds of delicious protein-packed burgers including tips on how to finish those burgers to perfection.

She’ll walk you through recipes like Zesty Black Bean Burgers, Savory Mushroom Burgers, and more.  You’ll also learn to make sides such as a Sensational Sprout Slaw, Creamy potato salad and of course, a chocolatey no bake cookie to go with your best burgers ever. You’ll get a little hands-on cooking time next to Cindy, as well.
