Class Description: 

You’d be hard pressed to find a more elegant dessert that will wow your family and friends like the showstopping Crepe Cake…or as the French call it, Mille Crepe Cake. 

Something magical happens when you layer fresh-made crepes with sweet vanilla pastry cream to build a unique cake. At first glance, it looks intimidating, we know, but it's not as hard as you think.  Especially when you have an experienced professional like Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner, graduate of The French Culinary Institute, past owner of Mulberry & Mott’s (Country Club Plaza) and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room, to show you how it’s done. 

First, she’ll show you how to make the creamy Vanilla Pastry Cream that you’ll use to fill your cake. Then, Chef Natasha will teach you how to whip up a crepe batter and then walk you through the crepe-making process, step-by-step.

Once you've mastered the easy crepe technique, it's all about stacking gently, not over-filling with pastry cream, and building your crepe cake creation tall enough to create dramatic, stunning slices. Won’t you be fancy! 

You’ll receive the recipes and a shopping list so you can gather your ingredients and equipment ahead of time and then build your own Crepe Cake with Chef Natasha in today’s informative online class.
