California Dreamin’ - A Classy Coastal Seafood Menu with Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt

Take your repertoire up a notch with a very special seafood dinner menu, and learn how to impress special dinner guests with this elegant meal that will knock their socks off... and put a feather in your culinary cap!

In tonight’s class, you’ll get what you have always dreamed of as you learn to cook a fabulous seafood dinner along with a rock star instructor, our own Chef and Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt. 

Chef Jill has a laid-back teaching style that you’re sure to love and she’s excited to share her deep culinary experience. You’ll be amazed as she shows off her mad skills, divulging some of her favorite tips while she whips up a gourmet seafood meal with a California influence that’s sure to impress.

Chef Jill rolls out the red carpet with a fabulous menu that consists of Coastal Prawns with Citrus Butter and Red Chiles as tasty appetizers and follows up with a lovely salad topped with fresh champagne vinaigrette.

Then, she’ll dive right into the water as she teaches a fancy-schmancy Pan Seared Scallops with White Wine and Herb Sauce, Vegetable Rice Pilaf for our perfectly paired side, and more.

For dessert, Chef Jill will show you how to use a kitchen torch while creating a fantastic Crème Brule for the grand finale. We’ll end by dining on tonight’s seafood masterpieces. And of course, we’ll pair our fabulous dishes with some lovely California wines.

A great way to unwind on a Saturday night.
