A Big, Fat Greek Baking Class featuring Baklava & Spanakopita & More! with Pastry Chef Erik Sharp
You don’t need bring in Yaihai to learn how to make authentic Greek pastries. Today, experienced baker and pastry Chef Erik Sharp is in our kitchen and ready to walk you through the steps to make mouthwatering Baklava and Spanakopita – from scratch.
Chef Erik has years of baking experience under his belt including Pastry Chef for Kansas City’s renowned American Restaurant and former owner of Three Spoons of Sugar, so you can expect to learn much from this expert baker.
Today, he’ll “get his Greek on” as he shows off his baking skills and teaches essential techniques of working with phyllo dough and more while preparing savory Spanakopita (Greek Spinach Pie). Then, we’ll satisfy your sweet tooth when he creates classic a Greek classes – Baklava, a rich, sweet dessert pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts.
And that’s not all! Chef will also throw in a Strudel lesson, including yu8mmy fillings. A great class to up the ante on your baking skills. Yazoo!
