Santa’s Gingerbread House-Making Party!

The holidays just aren’t complete without a visit to the most fabulous Gingerbread House Party in town.   The Merry Elves of The Culinary Center of Kansas City invite all you 'kids' – young (ages 5+) and older (ahem!) – to get together for an old-fashioned, pre-holiday festivity complete with holiday music and a steaming cup of cocoa!

There is no better way to celebrate the holidays than by building a REAL Gingerbread House to admire (and nibble on) at the peak of the holiday season! We’ll show you how to do it and have the “building materials” ready! Then all you do is choose from a huge variety of edible decorations and let your imagination run wild. (Half the fun is watching the kids choose their decorations from our Candyland Island!) We’ll also have Santa’s Magic Royal Icing ready to squeeeeze! 

Space is limited, so reserve early and bring a camera… this family-friendly holiday event is sure to sell out fast!  

NOTE:Each child (5-8) must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.  One house per each registered team. Additional gingerbread houses (including access to Candyland Island) may be purchased for $50 each with the purchase of one team registration. Please call our office at 913-341-4455 to reserve and pay for any extra houses as this can’t be done online.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CLASS: 

• Mask Policy.  We are committed to providing the highest degree of safety for our guests including compliance with all applicable governmental orders.  At this time, if you or your child are fully vaccinated, we do not require that masks be worn when attending a class. 
  
  
• Let us know if you want to sit near someone else attending the class.  Let us know at the time of registration (in the ‘comments’ section of your registration) whether you would like to sit near someone else attending the class..  You could also call us with this information at 913-341-4455
  
  
• For kids ages 9-18 attending this class, we require A Waiver signed by parent/legal guardian prior to admittance to this class:  [Click here to download the Waiver]   Note that the Waiver requires that you provide  (1) a phone number where you can be reached during the class if necessary and (2) name(s) of any additional people who are authorized to pick up the child after class.  We encourage you to print off a copy of this Waiver, sign it and either 1) scan and email it to heather@kcculinary.comor 2) bring it to class with your student.  Without an appropriately signed Waiver your child will not be allowed to attend class.  We are sorry but we cannot make any exceptions to this rule.  Also note that If someone other than the parent signs a Waiver, they will need a legal document to be presented that shows without question that they have the legal authority to sign a Waiver on behalf of your child at that time.
  
  
• Only registered students allowed in the classroom during class.  While we love those parents/grand-parents, aunts & uncles, they will not be allowed to attend ‘just to watch their child’ without registering for the class.  You are welcome to enjoy our Kitchen Shop Experience while your child, age 9 and up, is attending.
