Paul McCool is the “Alton Brown” of The Culinary Center of Kansas City® when it comes to bread-making, and in each of these 5-hour workshops, we’ll cover a lot of ground as you take your skills to the next level. Taking all four classes is encouraged, but is not required, although, doing so will do the trick if you’re looking for more comprehensive education in the art of bread-making. Learn from one of the “McCoolest” baking instructors you’ll ever meet. If you’re serious about baking, you don’t want to miss one minute of this informative series.
Class #4: Double Bread Whammy! Sourdough Breads + Formula Design
Take it from us, this will be one of the “McCool-est” bread class you’ll ever take from this culinary bread-master! In this 5-hour workshop, it’s all about creating incredible sourdough breads, plus, we’ll learn the art of bread-making formula design, a must for every true bread-maker! It will illuminate the bigger picture in the art of bread-making.
For those of you who took Class #3, you will use the sourdough starter that you made after that class to create your own sourdough loaf. For those of you who did not take Class #3, Paul will have starter for you to work with and will cover the fundamentals of making a starter, as well.
If you live more than a 30-45 minute drive from CCKC, bring a small cooler with you to carry your dough home without it over-fermenting.

PLEASE NOTE: Each of the classes in the group labeled as Essentials of Bread-Making assumes that you have at least an introductory knowledge of bread making.
Registration for all 4 "Bread-Making Essentials" classes (see list below) is encouraged, but not required.
$95 per class, or register for all 4 classes in the series and receive a 10% refund on the entire series after the 4th class.
