(Moved From 3/19) French Croissants
NOTE: This class has been moved from 3/19.
Ahhhh, the croissant… that beautiful, flaky, buttery, golden, crescent-shaped, joy in your mouth, pastry that sings to the taste buds. (What?! You were thinking the same thing?)
Considered elusive even to the most seasoned baker, many don’t think they are within their reach skill-wise until culinary instructor and seasoned Pastry Artist Leighana Williams, tells them that yes,…it IS possible!
Tonight, she’ll share her talents and time with us and teach us how to make and bake croissants… step by step. It’s a process that takes some time, but the rewards are amazing, and completely worth it!!
You’ll be garnering much knowledge about flours and yeast and butter as we whip up our dough. You’ll learn how to shape croissants, and to bake them up perfectly so they look as good as the ones in those bakery cases! Throughout class you’ll also learn essential skills that you can apply to your future baking endeavors.
Yes, we’ll be tasting croissants… and yes, we’ll be taking some home to enjoy! You’re welcome.
