With the serious and useful cookie decorating techniques and tips you’ll learn in this interactive class, you’ll gain the confidence to make your own colorful and unique cookies like a pro, in no time.

Our expert instructor, Rachel Van Stratton is a cookie decorator extraordinaire, so you’ll be learning from a very talented cookie decorating artist.

She’ll get your imagination flowing as she shows you all about the fundamentals of cookie decorating as she discusses icing types, decorator bags and tips, handling and basic decorating techniques and then shows you how to transform a pre-made sugar cookie to amazing edible art!   Learn how to write cute little messages on cookies.  How about a cookie that looks just like a pretty “box of chocolates.”   Don’t worry, she’ll have some sample cookies decorated to show you how it’s done.  

Next, she’ll demonstrate various cookie decorating methods including: Royal Icing, piping, glazing, sugar decorations and more. With all of the tricks and tips such as borders and flow icing that you'll learn today, you’ll leave class with the confidence and know-how to recreate what you’ve learned at home for any special occasion.  You'll get a bit of hands-on as you try the techniques in class, too.
