Celebration Cinco de Mayo!

Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo, so let’s celebrate tonight and learn how to make authentic Mexican dishes, but with a special twist… all taught by an expert in Latin cuisine. 

Don’t fight the bar crowds, folks!  Join Chef and experienced culinary instructor Dana Holland who is in our 'cocina' tonight, and, he’s ready to show you what he knows.  Did we mention the flavors this Chef knows how to create?  Over the top! 

He’ll start you off with some party starter appetizers and a special Mexican cocktail called a Hot Lolita because, well… Olé! 

Expect dishes like On-the-Border Shrimp Ceviche, Roasted Tomato Salsa, Chicken Mole Coloradito, Frijoles Borrachos (that means “drunken beans” – It IS Cinco de Drinko you know!), Roasted Pineapple Sundaes with Kahlua & Homemade Dulce de Leche Sauce (not the canned variety!) 

If that’s not enough, you’ll learn how to make fresh tortillas - from scratch.  You won’t believe how easy it is and what a huge difference it makes in your recipes!  You’ll get some hands-on cooking time with Chef, too! 

Wear comfortable party fare and your sombrero if you dare… let’s party!!
