Chef McPeakes’ Award-Winning Seafood Dishes
Just because Kansas City isn’t located on the coast doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy some great seafood! And we also happen to have access to one of the best Seafood Chefs around!
You may not realize that our own Chef Richard McPeake designed the original recipes for the Bristol Bar & Grill. Yep, he has a bit of a “fishy” past! Chef Richard is the original Chef for Kansas City’s award-winning Bristol Bar & Grill … famous for its seafood, and legendary for its sauces. In fact, he helped propel the Bristol to legendary status as the restaurant received Silver Spoon 1st Place awards, Travel Holiday awards, and countless other accolades in the early 1980's. Tonight he’s going to share some of his favorite award-winning recipes with you. What a treat!
First, he’ll teach a variety of cooking methods, while showing you how to make seafood delights such as Shrimp in Whipped Devil’s Butter, Seared Salmon with Avocado Butter Sauce, Shellfish Sausalito, and Pan Seared Egg Dipped Lemon Sole. We’re talkin’ a Chef that created seafood concept restaurants folks! Come learn from the best.
Of course, you’ll get to help Chef prepare some of tonight's dishes, plus taste everything you’ve help to prepare, and take home the recipes so that you can recreate these delicious dishes at home.
