(No Longer Available) Mixology 101: Skills For The Home Bartender

1 Seat available
Price $65.00
Instructor: Bruce Campbell
Location: The Culinary Center of Kansas City

Ready to throw a party, but unsure your bartending skills are up to the task? The, join the 'Food & Beverage Guy' Bruce Campbell for a lesson in bartending.  He’ll teach you basic bartending skills along with discussing necessary bar tools, glassware, garnishes and ice (yes, I said ice).

From classic to craft cocktails, he’ll also take the confusion out of infusions, demonstrate homemade mixes and show some modern change ups that’ll put you on par with those bearded wonders behind your favorite hangout’s bar.

A cocktail party wouldn’t be complete without some recipes for easy and low-maintenance appetizers, so we’ll cover those, too.  In case you were wondering, you’ll get to taste some of the cocktails as well as the appetizers. From now on, you’ll be prepared to entertain at the drop of a hat!

Demonstration class, but we won’t promise you won’t be called up to practice your shaking techniques.

Demonstration Class | Tastings of Cocktails & Appetizers
Wed 7/17/19     6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.

If you plan to attend this class with another party who signed up separately, please add their name(s) to the COMMENTS section of your online registration so that we can seat you together; otherwise we cannot ensure that you will be seated together for the class. If you register for multiple students at one time, that registration will prompt you to supply the names of all students you are registering and we will know to seat you together.  Thank you!
