Japanese Cooking Made Simple
Japanese food is essentially fresh, seasonal flavors cooked simply which easily makes it some of the healthiest cuisines you'll find.
The best way to learn how to create authentic Japanese food is under the tutelage of an experienced Asian chef…..and tonight, you’re in for a treat as experienced instructor, Chef Cynthia Samel, has been teaching Asian classes for many years.
She will take us on a culinary journey of Japan as we explore the methods, presentations and customs of Japanese cuisine as you learn essential culinary techniques while she shows you how to prepare Tsukemono Pickles and Chysanthemum Turnip, and Tempura Nori Nests (prawn & vegetables).
Next, we’ll move on to a beautiful Shabu Shabu-Beef entrée that’s accompanied by vegetables and udon noodles with fresh Dashi broth, Ponzu and Sesame Sauce. Wow. We’ll end our Asian feast with cool Green Tea Ice Cream, for dessert. Lucky you!
