It’s no secret that Italians love to eat. And, weekend brunches win hands-down for garnering some much-needed down time with family and friends. You can sleep in, there are no difficult decisions on whether to have breakfast or lunch, the table is brimming with delightful combinations of savory and sweet… and, let’s face it… if Noni says you can have a cocktail at 10 a.m. without anyone looking at you funny, it’s happening. This morning, one of our most popular instructors, Chef Sandy DiGiovanni, is gettin’ up early to showcase some of her Sicilian families favorite brunch recipes. Brunch certainly does showcase the very best parts of breakfast and lunch and today’s line-up is no exception.
We’ll get our morning started with refreshing Bellini cocktail (duh) served with Bruschetta with Homemade Ricotta and Orange Mostarda.
Then, Chef Sandy will show off her cooking skills as she teaches you how to prepare Italian delights like a colorful Arugula Insalata mixed with honeyed nuts and fresh fruit, Eggs alla Gricia, Italian Home Fries with yummy Gremolata Butter and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with a lovely citrus syrup. Deliziosa!
You’ll get to tie on an apron and help Chef Sandy prepare some of our dishes, plus you’ll leave with all the recipes so you can recreate this Italian brunch feast for your family and friends.
