Known for its famous climate, cuisine and rich history, France is a culinary mecca.  Dotted with hilltop villages overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, some of the most beautiful cities in the world and, of course, where some of the best wines in the world are produced. 

Tonight, we’ll take you on a gastronomic exploration of the cuisine and wines of this romantic country, prepared and taught by Chef Andrew Kneessy, an accomplished Executive Chef with extensive food and wine knowledge and experience in hosting many dinners where he created perfectly harmonized food and wine pairings.  Chef Kneessy has cooked at the finest establishments all over the world and his resume includes cooking for Presidents Bush and Clinton at The White House.  So you’re in for a treat tonight and some interesting stories, no doubt! 

Our 5-star evening will begin with a glass of bubbly and travel through a menu that includes dishes such as French Onion Brioche Toast, Tuna Nicoise Salad with Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette, Duck Confit with Creamy Lentils, Cauliflower and Cherry Gastrique, Braised Shortribs Bourguignon, Crème Brulée, and more. 

French food needs French wines so we’ll sample French Rosé, Burgundy, Bordeaux and Sauterne.  Whew!  Or, as they say in France… ”Mon Dieu!”
