Festive Holiday Braided Breads
With the holidays fast approaching, and the weather nice and cold, we’re thinking it’s the perfect time of year to learn how to make festive holiday breads.
Fire up the oven and let’s get kneading as we learn to create two extraordinary holiday breads - Blueberry Cream Cheese Braid and Orange-Pecan Braid.
Eager to show us how it’s done is bread-maker extraordinaire, Paul McCool. In tonight's s 3-hour class, you’ll work alongside this charming baker as he teaches you to create these festive breads that will be perfect for a holiday morning treat with your family.
You’ll learn how to properly mix, knead, ferment, and shape these beauties. In spite of their names, each bread has a different and distinctive shape and technique.
Paul will also show you apple and peach filling variations for the blueberry braid. You’ll mix, knead, ferment, braid and take these lovely breads home to bake.
Note: If you live more than a 30-45 minute drive from CCKC, bring a small cooler with you to carry your dough home without it over fermenting.
