“Not Your Nana’s” Gnocchi
Tonight, you'll not only learn to make classic gnocchi – those heavenly little potato dumplings that melt in your mouth – you'll also learn additional tips on some variations as well as some accompanying sauces.
Making gnocchi (pronounced "nee-okkee") takes practice, patience and persistence ... and we’re excited to have Chef Dana Holland in ‘da house to teach you how it’s done. You'll have the opportunity to perfect your skills as he explores the basics of making gnocchi, too.
You’ll learn interesting dishes like Gnocchi a L’Amatriciana – light potato pillows tossed in a quick, spicy Tomato Sauce, Gnocchi a la Romana – semolina gnocchi with black kale and a creamy Gorgonzola Sauce, and Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Pistachio Pesto and Turkey Meatballs. Yum! Chef Dana will be here the whole time with guidance and helpful hints.
Yes, of course you'll get to taste the gnocchi and the lovely sauces. Plus, you’ll take home the recipes so that you can recreate the gnocchi magic at home.
