Looking for something fun and unique to do on a Saturday night?  Well, if you’re a true lover of food, then you’ll truly appreciate Chef Dana Holland's culinary tip of the hat to the rise of New California cuisine and our tribute to the iconic chefs from the 80’s that have been at the forefront of this modern American food scene.

Chef Dana is an avid traveler and has lived and worked all over the world, including stints at some of the finest restaurants in California’s famed Sonoma Wine Country. 

Tonight, he’ll pay tribute to some amazing dishes created by influential chefs like Wolfgang Puck (Spago-LA), Jeremiah Towers (Star’s-San Francisco), Joachim Splichal (Patina-LA) who, along with Alice Waters ( Chez Panisse – Berkeley)  pioneered the ”California cuisine’ culinary style that focuses on the use of the finest fresh, local ingredients produced sustainably and locally. These forward-thinking culinary professionals were truly ahead of their time and tonight, you’ll learn what the buzz has been all about.  

You’ll begin this lovely evening with a glass of California wine.  Then, we'll learn recipes created by these iconic chefs, using only the freshest local ingredients.

Chef Dana will explore an inspired menu starting with a Smoked Salmon Pizza with a decadent caviar cream, followed by Escarole Salad with anchovies and fresh garlic. 

He’ll move on to our showstopping delights like Herb & Ricotta Raviolo with Fresh savory Veggie Stew and a lovely Fennel Rosemary Brined Pork Roast that will melt in your mouth.

We’ll round out our evening with a fabulous dessert, Brown Sugar Roasted Pears with a Red Wine Caramel and  Vanilla Bean Crème Anglaise. Ok, folks….we’re not fooling around here…..this meal will show exactly why we're showcasing the work of these California-based chefs who are truly the 'real deal'. 

Of course, Chef Dana will teach essential culinary techniques and show off his mad cooking skills while teaching you to prepare this glorious California-inspired feast. And, you’ll get to tie on an apron and help prepare some of our amazing dishes, too.
