Pastry Fundamentals: I Love You, Pumpkin!

We’re smack dab in the middle of fall, and that can only mean one thing - it’s finally time for that beloved fall obsession… pumpkin! 

Get ready for your head to explode ‘cause tonight it’s all about pumpkin-inspired mini desserts and we have the perfect professional to show you how it’s done. Leighana Williams is an experienced culinary instructor and seasoned pastry artist with an easy-to-understand teaching style.

She’ll teach essential baking and cake decorating fundamentals as she shows you how to make pint-sized Pumpkin Bundt Cakes along with a fresh made Maple Cream Cheese Icing.  Then, you’ll get to practice the decorating techniques as you learn to turn the cakes into pretty pumpkins. So cute and soooo good!

You’ll also learn the art of pie making as Leighana shares her tips and teaches essential techniques to make the perfect homemade pie crust – you heard me, from scratch. Then, you’ll help add the creamy filling to create savory Pumpkin Hand Pies. Forks not required with these scrumptious gems.

Not enough, you say? Ok, then… how about if Leighana shares her favorite recipe for Homemade Pumpkin Spiced Coffee Cream. It’s waaaay better than that store-bought stuff and will save you a trip through the local drive-through for that expensive spiced-up cuppa joe. Uh, huh… that’s what I’m talkin’ about.

You’ll get to taste everything… along with some pumpkin-spiced coffee (of course) to satisfy your sweet addiction. Get ready for ooh’s and aah’s when you showcase these mini treats on your buffet table for autumn parties and holiday get-togethers.
