(No Longer Available) MORE Sushi in the House – Advanced Techniques

If you’re already a sushi fan and familiar with the basic techniques, here’s a perfect class to take your sushi-making skills up a notch.
In Japanese we might title this class “Sushi Ni” (Ni means #2), because our focus in this class is about moving beyond the very basics of sushi. And, experienced culinary instructor Chef Cynthia Samsel is the perfect person to show you how it’s done.
Tonight, it’s about learning some additional rolling techniques, tips on using sushi-building equipment, how to work with several varieties of fresh fish, and other techniques used by professional sushi chefs.
You will work alongside Chef Cynthia as she shows you how to up the ante while teaching you to create Caterpillar Rolls (unagi with avocado and cucumber), Spider Roll (softshell crab with avocado and tobiko), Shi Kai – a square shape with Tamago, and Tomo Maki – three friend spiral. Wow.
Chef will also teach tips on how to create beautiful garnishes using ordinary vegetables. Get ready to impress your friends and family!
Note: A prior knowledge of basic sushi-making techniques is recommended for this class.
