The Marvelous Macaron
If you’re like us, and you’re obsessed with these tasty and colorful French Macarons, then you’re in the right place. These crispy, delicate cookie “sandwiches” can be filled with… well, just about anything from jam to ganache, and more. These gems are melt-in-your-mouth treasures that make terrific family desserts, lovely displays for a dessert buffet, and awesome hostess or holiday gifts.
Tonight's experienced instructor is an awesome pastry artist, Leighana Williams, so you’re in for a real treat! You’ll garner much from this expert as you sit back and relax while she demonstrates and discusses how to make and bake the base recipe for macarons.
Then, you’ll tie on an apron and work alongside Leighana as she teaches you how to create several yummy versions of ‘made-from-scratch’ fillings like Chai Infused Chocolate Ganache, Pistachio and Rose Cream and Salted Caramel that we’ll use to complete our cookie sandwiches.
And, that’s not all! How about we learn to paint and decorate these little gems, too. Well, ok! So, tie on an apron, and let’s get going.
You’ll take home some macarons to share with your family (or not!). Oui Oui!
