Handmade Holiday Truffles
Tonight, you’ll be in chocolate heaven as you learn the fundamentals of making decadent hand-rolled holiday truffles. You’ll tie on an apron and work next to culinary professional Chef Dana Holland as he leads you in an interactive culinary experience where you’ll learn basic chocolate truffles and build on that to create some interesting version such as boozy truffles, white chocolate candy cane truffles, spicy diablo and a creamy vegan version, and more!
A truffle is a rich confection made with a mélange of melted chocolate, butter or cream, sugar and various flavors such as liquors, spices, coffee and nuts. Some are dipped in more chocolate; some are rolled in shaved chocolate or cocoa powder. The variations really are endless.
You’ll learn the tricks and tips for perfect handmade truffles in an easy-to-understand manner so that you can go home and create these lovely treasures for gift-giving and hostess gifts for the holidays, or any time of the year. And, to get the gift-giving started, everyone will leave with a sampling of tonight’s truffle-icious treasures.
