Learn To Cook French
Simple and French? No, it’s not an oxymoron… and Chef Dana Holland is here to prove it!
There’s no need to be intimidated by fancy French recipe names when you have a seasoned culinary instructor like Chef Dana in the kitchen taking you through it step-by-step. He has years of experience cooking in French restaurants, so he knows what he’s talking about!
He’ll break down each of the recipes and teach them in a simplified, no-fuss way. That’s right, French cooking techniques, made do-able! You’ll practice essential knife skills and learn excellent mise en place tips and tricks that will serve you well anytime you are in the kitchen. Who knows, you may even learn a French phrase or two!
By the end of our evening together, you’ll believe that you cancook simple French cuisine at home – especially when you recreate tonight’s fabulous menu that starts with Gougere – a lovely puff pastry with gruyere and rosemary, Alsatian Tart Flambe, a savory chowder, Confit of Duck Wings (SO good!), Grilled Shrimp with Ratatouille and for dessert, Raspberry Poached Pears with almond financier and white chocolate mousse. Voila!
