It doesn’t get much better than fresh homemade pasta with flavorful homemade sauces to top it perfectly!
Tonight, you’ll learn from the best… Chef Dana Holland is an experienced culinary instructor and will teach the how-to’s of working with fresh pasta – you’ll learn to make it with and without eggs, and with semolina flour - as well as a great line-up of classic sauces in this interactive class.
He’ll take you through the pasta-making process step-by-step as you don an apron and get your hands in the flour as you learn to make fresh pasta from scratch.
Then, Chef will show you how to turn the dough into a variety of interesting shapes that are different regions in Italy like pappardelle, linguini, pinci, orecchiette, and more. The list is endless!
Did you know that each pasta shape is designed for specific sauces? Well, they are, and Chef Dana will show to pair sauces with various pasta shapes as you learn to make several fresh and flavorful sauces like a spicy Arrabbiata Sauce (tomato), cream sauce, basil pesto sauce, puttanesca and more.
Plus, dishes like Spaghetti alla Chittara and Pappardelle with Ragu with Whipped Ricotta, to name a few. Mama Mia!
You’ll take home some of your hand-made pasta to cook and show off to your family, plus the know-how to do it yourself from now on. Forget about that dry boxed stuff. You’ll soon be a “pasta-making machine” in your own kitchen. Mangia!
