Intro to Cookie Decorating
If you’re wanting to create impressive hand-decorated cookies, but are stuck for ideas, or just don’t know where to start, look no further than this class for your inspiration.
Tonight’s instructor, Chef Natasha Goellner, is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute and past owner of Mulberry & Mott’s and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room, so you’ll be learning from one of the best.
She’ll teach basic tips and techniques to decorate colorful, whimsical and professional-looking cookies for your special events and parties such as baby or bridal showers, weddings, or special birthdays. The skies the limit!
First, you’ll learn to make Royal Icing (the perfect icing for cookie decorating), then move on to simplified lessons on professional cookie decorating methods like piping, glazing, sugar decorations, and more. Don’t worry if you’ve never handled a pastry bag before, Chef Natasha will show you the way and have you decorating like a pro in no time!
Expect lots of hands-on time as you practice the cookie decorating techniques that you’ve learned and create your own unique hand-decorated cookies.
