Intro to Healthy Cooking with Chef Gary Hild

Today’s instructor, Chef Gary Hild, is a lover of good food, is passionate about his health, and has learned that nutritious, fresh and organic food can be healing and, if prepared correctly, delicious!

Chef Gary will show you how to use REAL food to excite your palate, heal your body and nourish your soul! He's helped thousands of students learn to create restaurant-quality cuisine using only pure, healing ingredients. He's a firm believer that healthy cooking and plant-based meals are nothing short of culinary medicine. And he's in our kitchen to share some tried-and-true healthful, satisfyingly delicious recipes with you.

Chef will break the recipes down in bite-size, easy-to-understand morsels – and explains everything so well that even the most inexperienced cook will walk away with much gained insight and the confidence to recreate these dishes at home, as he shows us how to pureéthe white beans for White Chicken Chili, he'll tell us WHY we want to do that. He will also be teaching us how to create a “health-ified” Taco Salad as well as Popeye Manicotti, a perfectly freezable, do-ahead dish!
