Flavors of the Southwest with Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt

If you’ve ever been to Santa Fe, New Mexico, you know that it is a mecca for food lovers.  Home to the famous Coyote Café and Café Pasqual’s, both of which pioneered southwestern cuisine and helped bring it to the country’s attention. 

Join our own CCKC Executive Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt for a flavorful culinary experience as she teaches some of her favorite cuisine in beautiful recipes inspired by the flavors of the Southwest.  

Tonight’s tasting menu will include gems like Mini Avocado Toast with Grilled Shrimp and Chipotle Bacon (you heard me… bacon!), a cool Santa Fe-inspired salad, Blue Corn Enchiladas, Chili Rellenos with a kick-butt chile sauce, Natilla with Berries for a sweet dessert, and more.  You’ll even get some hands-on cooking time alongside Chef Jill in this class, folks!

This is a perfect chance to grab some “caballeros” and enjoy a fun in the kitchen with a culinary pro.

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
