(No Longer Available) Learn To Make Sugar Flowers
Learn the fundamentals of making beautiful, realistic-looking gum paste flowers, leaves and arrangements!
Today's instructor, Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner, is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute, past owner of Mulberry & Mott’s and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room. This talented professional brings years of experience to the table as she teaches us the tips and techniques needed to create gorgeous sugar flowers.
Sit back and relax as she demonstrates the proper way to roll out, cut, shape and mold the leaves and flowers, plus how to add color and sparkle to make your creations come alive.
She’ll show you how to wire each blossom and leaf together to make a beautiful bouquet with which to decorate cakes, cupcakes, buffet tables, centerpieces and more. Once you know these basics, you’ll be able to create an entire garden of flowers and leaves to enhance your cake decorating skills and make your cakes look polished and professional.
Prepare to take lots of notes as Chef explores tips and techniques of working with gum paste and become familiar with sugar flower tools and toys. A fabulous class that will up the ante on your decorating skills!
