Fiesta Baja! A Celebration of Coastal Mexican Cuisine with CCKC Exec Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt

Join us for a special fiesta in Baja with lively music and lots of great food!  Expect fresh ingredients, fiesta-infused flavors and delectable presentation as you work alongside our very own Executive Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt.  

Mexican cuisine is her specialty, so you’re in for a ‘real-deal’ treat that will make palette scream “Ole!” as it explodes with the bold and exciting flavors of Baja-inspired dishes.

You’ll learn lots of culinary techniques and tips as she teaches Mexican dishes like Mini Ceviche Tostadas topped with a cool  Radish Pico, Baja Fish Tacos (grilled fish filets marinated in lime, garlic and chiles in corn tortillas) with Mango Avocado Salsa, and Black Beans and Corn Rice. For dessert, Chef Jill will pull out all the stops with a delicious Margarita Granita. Mucho good! 

No fiesta is complete without cocktails, so you’ll enjoy a CCKC Signature Margarita to toast our Baja celebration! 

You’ll get some hands-on cooking time next to Chef Jill, too! Wear your comfortable party (and kitchen) clothes, (and your sombrero, if you dare!) and come join in on the cooking fun!
