‘Cookie Love!’  Decorating Workshop (More Cookie Deco on 3/8)

Next to chocolate and flowers, nothing brings bigger smiles to friends, family or that special someone than giving them hand-decorated cookies!  (By the way, a gift certificate to take this class would also make a FANTASTIC early gift to attach to a Valentine’s Day card for your child (ages 14+), ‘luvvah’, special friend… whomever you want to show some love! )  

With the serious and useful cookie decorating techniques and tips you’ll learn in this interactive class, you’ll gain the confidence to make your own colorful and unique cookies like a pro, in no time.

Our expert instructor, Rachel Van Stratton, is a cookie decorator extraordinaire, so you’ll be learning from a very talented cookie decorating artist. She’ll get your imagination flowing as she shows you all about the fundamentals of cookie decorating as she discusses icing types, decorator bags and tips, handling and basic decorating techniques and then shows you how to transform a pre-made sugar cookie to amazing edible art!   Don’t worry, she’ll have some sample cookies decorated to show you how it’s done. 

Next, she’ll demonstrate various cookie decorating methods including: Royal Icing, piping, flooding, sugar decorations and more. With all the tricks and tips that you'll learn today, you’ll leave class with the confidence and know-how to recreate what you’ve learned at home for any special occasion. You'll get a bit of hands-on as you try the techniques in class, too. 

As a bonus, the beautiful decorated cookies you take home today would make the perfect handmade gift to spread the love to anyone you care for… including your own darn self!!
