Marvelous Middle Eastern Cuisine: Journey to Jerusalem with Chef Joshua Rosen

Take the mystery out of cooking Middle Eastern food when you learn to do it the authentic way, from start to finish.  You’re in for a special treat tonight, as our Lead Chef Joshua Rosen leads your culinary journey in this fantastic class as he explores and teaches the basics of Middle Eastern cooking and cuisine. 

Chef Rosen is an accomplished culinary professional with strong culinary experience and has prepared and created an array of award-winning menus at top notch restaurants like the exclusive The Sanctuary Resort and Spa (Paradise Valley, AZ), a local favorite, Trezo Vino Wine Bar & Bistro right here in Kansas City, and more. We are so happy and excited that he’s sharing his unique talents with you in this special cooking class.  

Your senses will experience the sights, sounds, and smells of bright, vibrant, and aromatic traditional dishes as you learn how to use authentic spices to create an amazing array of appetizing and aromatic dishes.

He’ll teach essential cooking techniques while showing off his skills while showing you how to make some classic Middle Easter dishes like Baba Ganoush, and freshly made Hummus served with Pita Bread. 

Next up, is a beautiful Middle Eastern Panzanella Salad (Na’ama’s Fattoush). Then, you’ll move on to our outstanding entrée, Short Ribs with Za’tar and apricots served with Harissa and Chamoula Sauces. He’ll pair this comforting dish over warm Israeli Couscous.

We’ll round out our exotic menu with Sumac and Za’tar Roasted Carrots, and, of course, we’ll end with a magnificent dessert, traditional Halva & Tahini Brownies served with homemade Date Ice Cream. Seriously, who can resist that!
