Join professional Pastry Chef Erik Sharp this afternoon as you learn all about the world of making perfect scones and fillings. You won’t believe how versatile a scone can be!
Chef Erik has garnered years of baking experience under his belt, so you can expect to learn much from this expert baker. In today’s demonstration class, he’ll teach essential baking and pastry techniques, as well as guidelines for shaping and baking all types of scones and more. We’ll learn to make both sweet and savory versions, as well as an amazing lemon curd recipe.
From mixing, shaping and flavoring to baking, freezing and presentation, Chef Erik will make sure you are armed with the correct way to make fantastic scones and fillings.
As a bonus, he’ll also throw in a quick lesson on how to turn the lemon curd into tangy Lemon Bars.
Of course, you’ll take home the recipes for everything covered in today’s class.
