If you don’t have the finishing touches right, you might as well not light up the grill. Everyone knows that great tasting BBQ sauce makes all the difference.  It can take your grilled meals from ho-hum to finger-lickin’ good!

Longtime CCKC culinary instructor, Bruce Campbell, is a 17-year barbecue competitor and passionate about the art of barbecuing.  He’s eager to share his professional tips and many stages of sauce-making while walking you through the steps to make your very own ‘Championship’ BBQ sauce. You heard me. 

Then, you’ll put on your apron and practice what you’ve learned when you build your own batch your own signature sauce.  You can kiss those store-bought sauces good-bye… the possibilities are endless.  And yes, you’ll get to name your sauce too!

To add to the fun, we’ll include a friendly competition where your unique sauce will be judged by appearance, texture and taste and take home the bragging rights for the Best Sauce.  It’s not all about winning, though… the real fun is brainstorming your own creation and showing it off to your family and friends. Just sayin'.

Once your 'special sauce' is complete, you’ll get to sample it on top of some Grilled Chicken and Sausage Slides that you’ll get to help  prepare, plus Bruce will serve up a cheesy corn dish that will rock your world.  Don’t worry… you’ll get to take all these tasty recipes home with you.
