Global Dumplings: From Pierogi to Ravioli
There aren't many foods more comforting than fresh-made dumplings – they’re truly a universal food. A pocket of dough filled with sweet or savory fillings, some version of these dough-filled pockets can be found almost anywhere in the world.
Tonight, Chef Dana Holland will take you on a culinary journey as he teaches many varieties of filled dumplings, pockets and little pies such as Pierogi, Ravioli, Korean, Chinese and Indian dumplings and more. You’ll also learn to make sauces, broth and an interesting chutney that perfectly complement each of these global delights. Whether baked, boiled, steamed or fried, these tasty gems are sure to rock your taste buds.
Of course, you’ll get to help Chef with some of the cooking activities. Plus, you’ll taste everything and take home the recipes. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
