In today’s introductory class on cake decorating, you’ll explore some basics about cakes like the importance of “crumb-coating”, cooling, leveling, prepping and more.
Then, it’s all about the decorating as your instructor, Rachel Van Stratton shows you how to use pre-made Buttercream icing in decorator bags, different kinds of tips, and more as you learn to make basic decorations such as stars, rosettes, and shell borders. Everything you need to know to make your cake decorating a breeze!
It will all come together as you practice leveling, crumb-coating, icing and decorating your very own mini-cake that you’ll get to take home and show off to your family! Say goodbye to grocery store cakes!
