An Elegant Dinner Party Menu with Chef Sandy DiGiovanni

Join us for a special night out as you help prepare an elegant menu with one of our longtime CCKC culinary instructors, Chef Sandy DiGiovanni. 

If you’ve never taken one of Sandy’s cooking classes, you’re in for a treat. She approaches food like she did her stint on “America’s Next Best Restaurant” – with humor and un-abandoned delight. And, boy, does she know how to cook!  Chef Sandy will demonstrate and teach basic culinary techniques as she walks you through some fabulous dishes that will knock your socks off.

Our beautiful dinner will begin with house-made Ricotta Crostini with Fried Cherry Tomatoes, followed by a colorful springtime Boston Bibb Salad with Cherries and Walnuts with a tangy Raspberry Vinaigrette. 

Then, we’ll learn an impressive side dish made with charred Asparagus topped with Citrus Hollandaise Sauce before we move on to our elegant entrée of Salmon Wellington. (Uh, huh… I told you this was a special dinner.)

To top off our evening, you’ll watch as Chef Sandy shows you how to prepare one of her favorite desserts – Lemon Olive Oil Cake with a light Lemon Syrup.  What a menu!

Throughout the evening, you’ll get to practice some of the techniques you’ve learned while you work next to Chef Sandy to prepare a few of these fabulous dishes. Plus, you’ll take home the recipes so that you can show off your newfound skills to your friends at your next dinner party.
