Class Description: 

Salad doesn’t just mean lettuce and bottled dressing. Wouldn’t it be great to have an arsenal of recipes and salad-making techniques that would keep your menus from getting boring year-round?  C'mon, let's raise the salad bar! 

In this fresh online class Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt with her fun teaching style and passion for teaching, will show us all we need to know about flavorful salads, as well as essential culinary techniques like basic knife skills, whisking and homemade dressings, make-ahead ideas, balancing flavors, prep tips and a lot more.  From simple composed salads to heartier full dinner salads, she’ll cover it all.  

Recipes include a beautiful Spring Salmon Nicoise Salad (Oui Oui!), a new summer twist on the plain ole Taco Salad including a jalapeno lime vinaigrette to-die-for, and a lovely “Fall in Love with Summer” Goat Cheese Salad.
