Grilling with Dad! A Fathers' Day Grill Fest for Dads & Kids (ages 9 and up)

It’s Fathers’ Day!  Instead of a boring tie, how about giving Dad something he really wants... a unique 3-hour interactive grilling experience with a professional BBQ’er... that he can take with his son or daughter.

In this special class for fathers and kids ages 9+ (C’mon… adult kids can take this with their Dad too!), you’ll work as a team alongside Award-Winning BBQ competitor and longtime CCKC culinary instructor Bruce Campbell as he teaches the fundamentals of grilling and BBQ.

We’re outside today (rain or shine… just like the pros! OK, so we’ll have tents if it rains!) as we learn the basics – grill safety, how to light the fire, heat zones, charcoal vs. gas, how rubs and sauces are made, and more.

We’ll prep and cook Grilled Chicken Wings, Veggie Kabobs and Grilled Fruit. Then each team will create and take home your own 'signature' BBQ Sauce and BBQ Rub.

Class fee of $140 is per Father/child (ages 9+) team.  Please note that ‘seats available’ refers to the number of adult/child team spots available in class.

PLEASE NOTE: For Onsite Classes, when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing.  If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
