(No Longer Available) A Gourmet California-Style Seafood Dinner

Join us for a special class, where you’ll get what you have always dreamed of… a delicious seafood dinner along with awesome lessons in cooking like a rock star from our own CCKC Executive Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt. 

Chef Jill has a laid-back teaching style that you’ll love and she’s excited to share her deep culinary experience. You’ll be amazed as she shows off her mad skills while divulging some of her favorite tips while she whips up a gourmet seafood meal with a California influence that’s perfect for entertaining.

Tonight’s recipes will take your cooking repertoire to another level as Chef Jill teaches some essential culinary techniques like knife skills, whisking, searing, sauce-making and more.  

Our gourmet feast starts off with Coastal Prawns with Citrus Butter and Red Chiles as tasty appetizers and follows up with a lovely Salad with champagne vinaigrette. Then, she’ll dive right into the water as Chef teaches techniques for cooking fancy-schmancy Pan Seared Scallops with White Wine and Herb Sauce, and Vegetable Rice Pilaf for our perfectly paired side, and more. For dessert, Chef Jill will show you how to use a kitchen torch while creating a fantastic Honey & Pistachio Crème Brule… to-die-for! 

We'll end our class by dining on tonight’s seafood masterpieces. And, of course, we’ll pair our fabulous dishes with some lovely California wines. Who says gourmet has to be stuffy? Not us!

NOTE: For Onsite Classes,when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing.
