ONSITE CLASS! Make Friends with your Instant Pot & Pressure Cooking

We are offering you the ability to sit right in our kitchens as Chef Jill teaches the online version of this special class.  Yup.  You’ll interact with Chef in an intimate kitchen setting but we know why you’re really here… the smells, the wine, the “behind the scenes” experience and oh yes… the TASTES! That’s what we thought.

Are you feeling under pressure?  Let's make sure it’s dinner and not YOU! Learning electric pressure-cooking fundamentals (and yes, that includes the Instant Pot!) can totally change your life. 

Join our own Chef and Lead Culinary Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt and experience how and why this life-changing small appliance deserves serious consideration as well as why it should be rescued from the small appliance graveyard in your basement.  (You know who you are!) Chef Jill loves to try out new equipment and the Instant Pot has easily become one of her favorites… ’cause she’s a busy gal and it allows her to get food prepped done in a fraction of the time. And you can too! 

Chef Jill will break down the various parts and functions of an electric pressure cooker and will demonstrate each of the recipes you’ll learn in class, from start to finish. Yes, there will be tastings and detailed recipes for all the dishes you learn in class for you to take home with you. We wouldn’t have it any other way. 

Bring your questions and expect to take lots of notes in this interesting class!

NOTE: For Onsite Classes, when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
