Join us as we explore one of the oldest cooking methods known to man — roasting foods on a stick!

Around the world, cooks and chefs have devised interesting and delicious ways to prepare foods to be cooked on wood, metal, bamboo and herb skewers. It allows marinades and other flavorings to penetrate further into the main ingredients.

We’ll learn standard cubing techniques as well as the weaving method. From the standard kebob to the Italian Speidini, these recipes make for great grill parties with your friends.

As usual in Chef McPeake’s classes, you’ll be given important cooking instruction as he walks you through the various techniques such as: proper grill methods, timing considerations, the ever-popular “quick-grill” method and how to use the various “heat zones” for different ways to prepare foods on the grill.

The tasting menu will include: Chili Shrimp Brochettes, Chicken Speidini with Amoggia Sauce, Thai Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Middle Eastern Kofta with Cucumbers in Minted Yogurt Sauce.

So c’mon! “Get on the stick” and sign up for this awesome class!
