Join professional Pastry Chef Erik Sharp this morning as you learn all about the world of making perfect scones and fillings. You won’t believe how versatile a scone can be! Chef Erik has garnered years of baking experience under his belt, so you can expect to learn much from this expert baker.
In today’s class, he’ll teach essential baking and pastry techniques as well as guidelines for shaping and baking all types of scones, and more. We’ll learn to make both sweet and savory versions as well as some amazing lemon and orange curd recipes.
From mixing, shaping, flavoring, baking, freezing and presentation Chef. Well, not to worry… Erik will make sure you are armed with the correct way to make fantastic scones and fillings.
As a bonus, he’ll also throw in a quick lesson on how to turn the lemon curd into tangy Lemon Bars. Yum. Of course, you’ll take home the recipes for everything covered in today’s class.
