ONSITE CLASS: Dinner in an Instant (Pot): Marvelous Main Dishes with Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt
We are offering the ability to sit right in our kitchens as Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt teaches this quick & easy cooking class. Yup. You’ll interact with Chef in an intimate kitchen setting but we know why you’re really here…the smells, the wine, the “behind the scenes” experience and oh yes…the TASTES! That’s what we thought.
Here’s the class description:
Learning electric pressure-cooking fundamentals (and yes, that includes the Instant Pot!) can totally change your life. When it comes to cooking main dishes like chicken (even from frozen!), pork butt and traditional pot roasts, gone are the days of Grandma's hissing, rattling, (scary!) stove-top pressure cooker.
Join Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt for this informative cooking experience as she teaches how and why this life-changing small appliance can change the way you think about dinner. She’ll explore a couple main course dishes that are sure to please.

NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
NOTE: For Onsite Classes, when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated. We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request. Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together. Thank you!
