Saturday Night Cooking Party with Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt

There’s a chill in the air now, which means those comforting, savory dishes we crave for hearty fall meals are calling our name. The comfort foods that Mom used to serve up every Sunday easily become some of our favorite dishes to eat because we love the food! Anddarn it, it’s comforting and good!

Join Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt as she teaches us how to make classic comfort foods “her way!”  Chef Jill is an engaging culinary instructor and will show off her expert cooking skills as she walks you through perfectly paired side dishes all centered aroundbelly-warmingSmothered Pork Chops. Of course Chef Jill will teach a comforting homemade dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth!

As always, you’ll taste everything you learn in class and take home the recipes to boot. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

NOTE: For Onsite Classes,when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
