ONLINE CLASS! Pot Pie, Hand Pie, Oh My! With Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt

THIS CLASS IS OFFERED ONLINE AS A LIVE COOKING CLASS! 

Yup!  We'll be sharing the same amazing culinary education you'd get if your backside were in a seat in our kitchens, except you can be in your jammies (we won't judge!).  Take notes.  Ask questions and have the instructor answer them LIVE!  Take your skills in the kitchen up a tasty notch.  We promise it'll feel a whole lot like you're here AND you'll be practicing safe social-distancing (See what we did there?) Class Description: 

This tasty 2-hour online class will springboard your cooking to new heights as you learn all about savory pies. 

Enter Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia to lead this informative culinary class as she welcomes you to the wonderful world of main-dish pies. She’s passionate about cooking, and always makes sure to ‘bring the fun’ to her classes. You’ll see.

Chef Jill will talk all about the proteins involved in each style and discuss the ingredients used to make these pies shine.

First, no matter which style you’re making, it all starts with a flaky crust, so she’ll walk you through the steps to make your own – yes, people, from scratch! Once learned, the sky’s the limited on what you can do with this recipe.  The fillings are versatile too! 

Chef Jill will teach a creamy Beef and Vegetable Hand Pie and a dreamy chicken filling that makes THE best Pot Pie Ever. Yuuummmmy!   

Of course, you’ll get to taste (and smell them cooking) in class, and we’ll provide the recipes for both dishes so you can re-create these tasty pie gems at home.
