(No Longer Available) The Beautiful Flavors of Indian Cuisine with Chef Gary Hild

Join us for an entertaining and flavorful Friday night cooking class. You’ll spice up your life (and your cooking) with a tantalizing evening of Indian cuisine led by experienced culinary instructor, Chef Gary Hild. 

Chef Gary will teach us how to simplify and take the mystery out of cooking Indian dishes. He’ll help take the mystery out of using curry and other traditional Indian spices and help you understand how they add their unique flavors to the taste of tonight’s dishes. 

Chef Gary has a passion for taking simple ingredients from plain to magnificent with his artistic use of spices. He’ll show you that it can be done 'the right way' as he teaches essential culinary techniques while preparing mouthwatering Indian classics like Chicken and Sweet Potato Curry, Pork Vindaloo (an east India favorite), Toasted Brown Basmati Rice, and a creamy Chai Custard for dessert.  

Come expand your culinary horizons as you delve into the many exotic and aromatic ways to enjoy the flavors of India and leave with the confidence to recreate tonight’s savory dishes in your own kitchen.

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.

NOTE: For Onsite Classes,when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
