Class Description: 

This class taught by Professional Pastry Artist Leighana Williams is the second of four classes that will start at the beginning and explore the process of creating beautiful special occasion cakes just like the pros do. 

To learn the entire process for creating special occasion cakes, registration for all 4 ‘ONLINE Pastry Master Classes” (see list below for topics and times) is encouraged, but not required.

Learning the versatile art of rolled fondant is an important step for anyone who is serious about creating impressive special occasion cakes.  You’ll work with a very talented pastry artist Leighana Williams, as she walks you through all the basics of making and working with fondant.

In this online class, you will receive an in-depth professional overview of fondant for use on cakes and you'll explore other several decorating methods. You will learn about fondant cover, how to make flowers out of fondant and more.  She’ll also discuss how to how to cover cakes of all shapes with rolled fondant, create several different trims and add fanciful cut-out shapes, loops and bows to your cakes. We also will discuss using silicone molds to make pearls.  

Turn that special cake into a work of art using fondant in fun and whimsical ways. She’ll share her tips and secrets along the way.
