‘Little Slice of Normal’ Dining Experience:  Date Night in A Paris Bistro

Tonight, it’s all about you two lovey-doveys as you enjoy a unique 'stay-cation' style date night experience in our kitchen. You’ll sit back and relax as you dine on a fantastic Paris Bistro-inspired menu designed by our own Lead Chef Joshua Rosen, an accomplished chef with deep culinary experience and an extensive knowledge of international cuisines especially classical French. In fact, his resume includes cooking for Julia Child, so you and your honey are in for a real treat. 

For more than a century, delighted diners, from accidental tourists to midnight habitués, have enjoyed some of the best French cuisine in the neighborhood bistros of Paris.  Over bowls of fabulous food and glasses of regional wine, customers have shared the warm and lively bistro atmosphere that makes even a simple evening in Paris memorable.  

Each bistro in Paris has its own special ambiance and menu. We’ll re-create the food and ambiance of these charming venues, right down to the Edith Piaf background music, the waiters in black and white, and lovely French wines perfectly paired to Chef’s fabulous menu centered around the French classic dish - Bouillabaise - an amazing seafood dish that is rooted deeply in the culinary heritage of France.  

You’ll watch as he shows off his expert cooking skills while showing you how to prepare some of the menu items this evening including a Salade Lyonnaise and Apple Tart Tatin.  A great night out with your special someone.

NOTE: For Onsite Classes,when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
