A ‘Ghostly Gathering’ Cookie Decorating Workshop

Looking for a unique way to celebrate Halloween? Join expert cookie decorator Teresa Stoner in our kitchen this morning as she leads a super fun 3-hour spooktacular cookie decorating workshop. 

She’ll teach simple and creative methods of cookie decorating that you’ll then use to create colorful Halloween cookie designs like ghosts, spiders, candy corn and more.

Teresa will start by showing you how to make Royal Icing (the perfect icing for cookie decorating) and then demonstrate cookie decorating methods, color flow, piping, flooding and more.

Next, you’ll get to join in on the decorating activities when you tie on an apron and practice what you’ve learned as you create your own hand-decorated Halloween-themed cookies... plus you'll gain the confidence and know-how to do it yourself at home.

NOTE: For Onsite Classes,when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
