Let’s explore the golden age of the cocktail as a culinary art form as the great folks at Tom’s Town Distilling Co. and Executive Chef Andrew Kneessy walk you through the “craft” of sophisticated craft cocktails paired with killer holiday hors d’oeuvres such as Mini Beef Wellingtons and Crab Stuffed Shrimp.
Tonight, one of Tom’s Town Distilling Co.’s proud owners, Steve Revare, will be ‘in ‘da house’ to talk about tonight’s cocktails that feature their own award-winning premium spirits. Then, you’ll sip and taste the high standards and attention to detail in the fantastic gin, vodka and bourbon used to create tonight’s outstanding line-up of specialty cocktails.
From shrubs and infusions to garnishes and glassware to temperature and balance, you’ll be dazzled by a variety of interesting and delectable cocktails you can easily recreate at home such as a Corruption Gimlet featuring Tom’s Town Botanical Gin, the Tom Pendergast – a signature bourbon cocktail named after their muse and inspiration, and the Gandy Dancer featuring their double grain vodka – all guaranteed to shine at your next party.
A celebratory cocktail party wouldn’t be complete without easy and low maintenance party starters to make your entertaining easy from a chef whose resume includes the Occidental Restaurant (Washington, DC), the Canadian Embassy, Blair House and the White House, where he cooked for George Bush and Bill Clinton, among many other amazing accomplishments in his career, so you can rest assured Chef knows how to impress.
