(No Longer Available) Holly Jolly Plant-Based Desserts For The Holidays with Chef Gary Hild
Chef Gary Hild will be the first to tell you that desserts can definitely be included in a healthy plant-based lifestyle, even during the holiday season. Tonight, he’ll prove it as he focuses and teaches simple and entirely scrumptious, plant-based desserts - made from scratch, not a box or a mix. These sweet treats are perfect for casual family meals or elegant holiday entertaining for guests.
Chef Gary is on a mission is to create good food using only pure, healing plant-based ingredients. During his many years as a chef, he’s learned firsthand that nutritious, fresh and organic food can be healing and, if prepared correctly… delicious! He will show you how to use REAL food to excite your palate, heal your body and nourish your soul. He’s helped thousands of students learn to create restaurant-quality cuisine using only pure, healing ingredients, and he is a firm believer that healthy cooking and plant-based meals are nothing short of culinary medicine.
He’ll share some of his tried-and-true satisfyingly delicious plant-based dessert recipes, like a creamy Thai Purple Rice Pudding, a “healthi-fied” French Clafouti that’s fruit-based, and much more. Hey, it wouldn’t be a dessert class without a discussion about chocolate, right? So he’ll teach a fabulous chocolate dessert while leading a discussion on the surprising health benefits of everyone’s favorite indulgence (especially dark chocolate) during the holidays, or anytime of the year.
Psssst… just so you know, these tasty good-for-you treats are Santa-approved.
